※ What do I pay for when I come to the Health Center?

For your convenience, we make a list of fees about office visit.
Please see the list for details as below:
 

​​​​​​​ National Taiwan University Health Center Fees for Medical Service.

The treatments that are REQUIRED for registration: Visit the doctor, an appointment, referral from other clinics or hospital for the injections, self-pay X-Ray, vaccine injections, diagnosis statement, first dressing change service, blood samples for study, copy of X-Ray and medical records, physical therapy, and/or nutrition consultations. (There services are only offered to NTU Students and Faculties/Staffs.)
Please see daily OPD schedule for reference. Registration time is 8:20am and 1:20pm. Please try to give the exact amount for the bills.
The following is NOT required for registration: a.The second dressing change for the wound or small cut (The nurse will be able to help you in Room 108.)
b.Request for Medical Examination Statement. (It Must be requested before 11:30 am at Room 111.)
c.Request for Physical Therapy Statement. (It is held in Room 202 on Monday afternoon or Thursday morning.)
d.Request for Nutrition Consultation Statement. (An appointment is required at Room 210.)

Registration and Visiting Fee:

I. NTU Student and Faculty/Staff --- registration fee is waived. (See     OPD Registration Preferential Discount List for references).

A.Use National Health Insurance NHI Copayment for each diagnoses (pay at the registration office) Visiting Fee (pay at the cashier) Note
NHI Member TWD 50 The cost will be determined after the visit. If the patient does not have IC Card, he/she will need to deposit TWD 350. (To receive a refund, patient MUST provide receipt to the cashier within 7 days of initial visit.)
NHI member, and is also the member of Medicine Mutual Society Operation. TWD 30 The cost will be determined after the visit. I.Please see Medicine Mutual Society Operation website for more details.
II.If the patient does not have IC Card, he/she will need to deposit TWD 350. (To receive a refund, patient MUST provide receipt to the cashier within 7 days of initial visit.)
NHI Member eligible for the following:
a.Veterans
b.Low Income
c.Also Having Catastrophic Illness Card or plans volunteer for Preventive Health Care Event.
No charge The cost will be determined after the visit. I.For Catastrophic Illness Card holders are REQUIRED to have doctor’s approval statement.
II.If the patient does not have IC Card, he/she will need to deposit TWD 350. (To receive a refund, patient MUST provide receipt to the cashier within 7 days of initial visit.)
B.Self-Pay Services
(Charges are not covered by Taiwan’s NHI)

  Non-NHI Member The cost will be determined after the visit. Non NHI Patients need to pay full amount for the visit.
  Vaccine Injections The cost will be determined after the visit.  
  Cervical PAP Smear Test The cost will be determined after the visit. It is offered to all women who are under age 30.
  Self-Pay for Blood Sample The cost will be determined after the visit. This is only the use for health examination.
  Diagnosis Statement TWD 50 /copy Only for the patients those who already had medical records in the Health Center.
  Visiting Certificate TWD 20 /copy Only for the patients those who already had medical records in the Health Center.
  Copy of Patient’s Medical Record TWD 2 /copy  
  Self-Pay X-Ray Service TWD 290 /time Only offers to NTU students for study.
  Self-Pay for Blood Sample TWD 90 /time l.Only offers to NTU students for study.
lI.Students need to bring own tubes and syringes.
  Self-Pay for Injections TWD 90 /time I.Only for those who are ill and in need of service.
II.The Health Center does NOT provide the tubes and syringes.
  Copy of X--Ray TWD 50 /copy (Amended and motioned through the 2740th administrative meeting on November 27th, 2012.)
  The Receipt for the visit TWD 30 /copy (Amended and motioned through the 2740th administrative meeting on November 27th, 2012.)

II.Non NTU Student or Faculty/Staff ------- NT $100 basic charge per visit.

B.Self-Pay Services
