Forwarding to the Ministry of Health and Welfare regarding the expansion of eligible recipients for the 2024 Influenza Vaccination Program starting January 1, 2024.
*Based on the Ministry of Health and Welfare's Letter No. 1130401034 dated December 13, 2023.
*To maximize the effectiveness of the publicly funded influenza vaccine, starting from January 1, 2024, the Ministry will expand the program’s eligible recipients to include all individuals nationwide aged 6 months and above who have not yet been vaccinated. This includes citizens of the Republic of China (Taiwan) and foreign nationals holding residence permits. Additionally, all eligible individuals (including students) receiving the publicly funded vaccine at contracted medical institutions will receive a subsidy of NT$100 per vaccination session.
*Regarding foreign students who have obtained residence permits but are awaiting their residence cards, during the expanded vaccination period of the 2023 Influenza Vaccination Program, temporary paper-based residence permits or application receipts for residence cards may be used as proof of residency to receive the publicly funded influenza vaccine.
